What is Nitrile Rubber?
Unlike natural rubber and other materials, nitrile gaskets and other parts are more resistant to heat aging. This feature is a key advantage because it keeps the nitrile from hardening and losing damping capacity as quickly as natural rubber and other solutions. For applications that require wear resistance and metal adhesion, nitrile rubber is also a good material choice.
Due to its versatility and strong electrical resistance, nitrile materials are not only used in oil, fuel and chemical resistant applications, but also in those applications that require heat resistance, abrasion resistance, water resistance and air permeability.
